Starring Magdalene and Skin Diamond
Still in bed mid-afternoon, Magdalene is surrounded by newspapers and magazines as she waits impatiently on the phone for her agent who eventually comes on to tell her that the interview had been canceled, but hey… he’s got a cheesy commercial offer.
BAM! Magdalene officially hits bottom.
Wishing she could crawl through the phone line and punch her agent in the face, a very frustrated Magdalene declines the offer, and abruptly ends the conversation. Just then her cute personal assistant Skin Diamond comes in, bringing with her some much needed hot coffee sound advice.
She clears away the mess, and sits on the bed next to Magdalene. “You’ve been holed up in this apartment for a month now. You need to get out and do something. Travel… Go shopping… Go on a date!”
Magdalene finally smiles, admitting that it had been ages since she’s been on a date. The two start discussing pasts, including dating and how neither currently are doing it. Magdalene reveals that in her past she had dated many men – and women as well, but that she hasn’t been in a dating mood lately. Skin confesses that men make her a bit squeamish.
“Squeamish?” Now it was Magdalene’s turn to offer some advice, and she does so from her Tony award-winning perspective. “If you you feel that way about boys, maybe you’re playing the wrong role.”
“I have wondered… I mean, I’ve had thoughts, about…” Skin paused, not sure if she should continue. However, after months of wallowing in self-pity, Magdalene was finally interested in a conversation, and she wasn’t going to give up on it that easily.
“About your girlfriends?” she asked.
“Well, why don’t you just tell her?” suggested Magdalene, feeling much better now that someone (especially someone so cute) actually needs something from her – even if it is just advice.
You can almost see Skin’s heart pounding in her chest. “It’s tricky…. She’s not really a friend.” Bracing herself for the worst, she blurted, “She’s you!”
But the reaction from Magdalene couldn’t have been more of the opposite. Skin’s confession unlocked the emotional floodgate which had been holding back her feelings and desires. She felt wanted, loved, alive again.
Magdalene leans in and caresses Skin’s face, gently kissing her, silently thanking her and letting her know her feelings are reciprocated.
The viewing experience is like being a naughty little fly on the wall, watching as both women take the perfectly written story line, and make it their own, delivering stellar performances not only with the dialogue, but also with the steamy sex. And for me personally, chemistry is a must, and these two have it in spades! The only thing about this scene that I could have asked for, was that it not end
